Hercules vs Real Madrid | Preview

Mourinho's Real Madrid makes Spanish debut

Real Madrid are currently undefeated in the preseason. Their match against Hercules tonight at 22:00 CET will surely anticipate what the team may encounter in La Liga during the 2010/11 campaign.

Mesut Ozil could make his debut with the team, as he was included on the squad list by Jose Mourinho. Karim Benzema has recovered from his injury and also made the cut. On the other hand, Casillas, Ramos, Xabi Alonso and Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the match.

Hercules’s coach and players have stressed how incredibly motivated they are to face Real Madrid in the Ciudad de Alicante Trophy, especially now that they are back in the First Division 14 years after they were last relegated.

Their most dangerous men are former Real Madrid players Portillo and Tote, Farinos, Rufete and goalkeeper Calatayud. They have been joined this summer by former Getafe player Cortes, Zaragoza’s Abel Aguilar, Paraguayan international Nelson Valdez and Senegal defender Mohamed Sarr, who previously played for Standard Liege.

Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Drenthe, Mateos, Juanan
